EMILY ELDRED
Emily Eldred has been working in the realm of book arts for twenty years. She earned a BFA in Sculpture with a certificate in writing at the University of Iowa in 2015 and her MFA in Book Arts at the University of Iowa Center for the Book. Her sculptural work concerns themes of censorship and memory, including long-term ongoing performance and participatory installations. Her letterpress-printed artist books translate life experiences into the book medium- the latest body of work documenting the past year’s physical and emotional effects of a breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
